RVF Hydrometric Inserts	UVF Hydrometric Inserts

Our RVF and UVF hydrometric structures are designed for quick installation into existing channels of rectangular section. The V-contraction in the RVF and UVF enables very low flows to be measured accurately, while having high top-end capacities: Qmax:Qmin ~ 100:1.	The UVF has the same hydraulic characteristics as the RVF but is designed for round bottom channels. Being inserts, they can be installed directly into the channel without costly 'reconstruction'. The RVF and UVF are well suited for small works inlets and drains
Installation costs are reduced by 40% of that of conventional installations. The RVF and UVF are supplied in standard channel/drain widths ranging from 150mm to 600mm. V-contraction angles vary from 20º to 60º dependant on the head/flow requirements of the intended installation. All FM hydrometric structures are manufactured in durable stainless steel with inherently low maintenance.
